Katie Ann’s Thatched Cottage is located on the shores of Loch Ainort, in the village of Luib on the Isle of Skye and offers spectacular sea and mountain view’s. During your stay keep a sharp eye out for the amazing variety of wildlife which regularly frequent the area around Katie Ann’s Thatched cottage including Seals, Otters, Dolphins and not to mention Sea and Golden Eagles which regularly swoop past.
Katie Ann’s Thatched Cottage is nestled in stunning landscape and offers the ideal base to continue your Isle of Skye adventures. The cottage lies adjacent to the A87, the main road on the island, and makes an excellent location to explore both the North and South of the island.
Broadford, the second biggest town in Skye, is a 10 minute drive, where you will find a supermarket, small independent shops and a number of cafes and restaurants. Portree, the island’s capital, is a 30 minute drive and here you will find all the amenities you would need for a holiday in Skye.

Katie Ann's Thatched Cottage is a traditional self catering accommodation based in Luib on the Isle of Skye. The property is a traditional croft house that has been renovated to a modern standard with excellent facilities including a fully fitted kitchen, widescreen TV, WIFI Internet, King sized bed, En Suite shower room and a comfortable lounge with great seating area. The traditional design of the cottage features very thick walls meaning the property is extremely well insulated and sound proof from outside noise. Our property also has private guest parking.
